Here is a listing of the club offerings:

legos

MONDAYS
LEGO Club with Silverwood Parent Andrea Lewis

The goal of the LEGO club is to create a fun, collaborative environment for LEGO enthusiasts. Building with LEGOs helps develop problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, and mathematical concepts, while being very fun! We will have free-builds, follow-along builds, creative builds, group builds and show-n-tells. We provide the LEGOs; your child provides the imagination! For all students in grades one through six.

chess board

TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS
Chess Club with Mr. Will Fugate

Become a mind warrior! Test your chess skill in over-the-board battles with opponents at your own level. Learn the sportsmanship and honesty required for every game of chess. This club is for beginning and intermediate players as well as those just learning the moves of the pieces. Tournament opportunities and the possibility of a Silverwood Chess Team are available. For all students in grades one through six.

drama club

TUESDAYS
Drama Club with Miss Amanda

Are you a drama king or queen? Have the acting bug? Join Miss Amanda in the Drama Club and put that talent on the stage! For all students in grades one through six.

green team

WEDNESDAY
Green Team Club with Miss Ashley

Green Team has evolved into an after–school club in order to make Silverwood an even more environmentally-friendly and responsible school. Green Team members will plan ways to raise awareness at our school about recycling, and avoiding use of non-recyclable items. We may even bring back Worm Wednesdays! For all students in grades one through six.

girls who care

FRIDAYS
Daring Girls Adventure Club with Miss Susan

Calling all daring girls – let’s band together for adventures and friendship! The Daring Girls Adventure Club will guide girls to support one another as they learn lifelong friendship skills and work together doing fun activities and crafts, sharing double-dare dreams, and figuring out how to make some of those dreams come true! For girls in second grade and up.
