Silverwood School is a community of learners that includes students, teachers, and families. Our school community is respectful, inclusive, supportive, and joyful. Parents are deeply involved in the life of the Silverwood School and participate by volunteering in classrooms, at school work parties, the school auction, on committees, and on the Board of Trustees.
Families at Silverwood come together for celebrations and to support our students on a regular basis at events like the Talent Show, Student Performances, School Picnics, Fun Nights, the Halloween Carnival and Silverwood Parents' Association Fun Night activities.
Silverwood strongly believes that family commitment and participation directly enhance each child's experience and the school environment. Therefore, each of our parents are required to contribute 12 hours per school year. Please update the “Volunteer Hours” binder in the office as you work volunteer hours at Silverwood. Silverwood School is successful because of its dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. See Volunteer Form and Volunteer Job Description.
